The Cuvette Holders are especially designed for absorption and fluorescence measurements and should generally be used with standard 10x10 mm cuvettes. For non-standard cuvettes, smooth ball plungers ensure repeatable placement and measurements at the same location.
All cuvette holders have a 5mm wide slit to hold filters, and a cover to prevent ambient light from entering the light path.
The standard inline cuvette holder features two collimating lenses with adjustable focus to maximise light throughput.
The fluorescence version has the same specifications, but the collimating lenses are placed under an angle of 90 degrees from one another. This is to isolate excitation from emission wavelengths. The other two ports on this version have SiO2 coated aluminum mirrors which reflect otherwise lost emissions back into the collection lens which serves to enhance the excitation and fluorescence signals.
There is also a 4 way version of the cuvette holder which feature four collimating lenses in two optical paths. This allows the flexibility of both the inline and fluorescence version in one device.
For low absorption measurements and flow cell cuvettes, a variable pathlength cuvette holder is an ideal solution. It features a variable, adjustable path length, adjustable from 10-160mm, ensuring maximum flexibility. It can be used as a standard cuvette holder with a 10mm pathlength, as a filter holder with 2mm pathlength or any pathlength up to 160mm.
This item is equipped with two collimating lenses to enable applications in the 200-2500nm wavelength range.
