For reliable, stable transmission measurements of samples of various sizes and thicknesses, its important to make sure that the light path is inline and stable. For this application, the variable collimating lens holder is the perfect tool - the vertical bars can be adjusted to accommodate samples up to 160mm thick.
The base is made of anodised aluminum and features adjustable mount bars. Each bar has four 3/8”-24 threaded holes for our range of collimating lenses. Adjusting the bars is easy - simply loosen the screws and slide.
Two collimating lenses are included with the variable collimating lens holder.
