The AvaSpec-ULS2048XL is part of SENSLINE range of fibre optic spectrometers and has an extra large pixel detector to increase the sensitivity to levels above the standard AvaSpec-ULS2048CL-EVO range. This increase in pixel height enables use of large core fibre cables, and therefore increasing sensitivity.
It also has a very useful, unique feature - this version allows the user to simply exchange the entrance slit for different sizes and match the specific applications demands for resolution and/or sensitivity.
This preconfigured spectrometer features a 2048 extra large pixel back-thinned CCD image sensor detector, 75mm ultra low stray light optical bench, and is optimised for applications over 200-1160nm with a choice of 4 entrance slits - 25, 50, 100 or 200µm.
Offering increased sensitivity from 200-1160nm, exceptional quantum efficiency and high speed communication, the 2048XL with replaceable slit is the perfect choice as a high sensitivity, yet highly flexible general purpose spectrometer.
Pre-installed options are order sorting filters to prevent 2nd order effects, a detector collection lens to enhance overall sensitivity even further, and a kit of slits including 25 (pre-installed), 50, 100 and 200um widths.
It connects and draws power from the PC via superspeed USB3, and is supplied complete with comprehensive AvaSoft-FULL software, a full manual including quick start guides, medium duty protection case, and is covered by a 3 years RTB warranty.
