The AvaSpec-ULS2048XL is part of SENSLINE range of fibre optic spectrometers and has an extra large pixel, back thinned detector offering exceptional quantum efficiency to form a very high sensitivity spectrometer. Unlike many backthinned CCD's which have 2 dimensional arrays, the XL has large monolithic pixels which off exceptional efficiency in the UV and NIR regions.
This preconfigured spectrometer features a 2048 extra large pixel backthinned CCD image sensor, 75mm ultra low stray light optical bench and is optimised for applications over 200-1160nm with 2.5nm (FWHM) resolution across the whole range. It also features and electronic shutter enabling integration times as low as 2µs.
Pre-installed options are order sorting filters to prevent 2nd order effects, and a detector collection lens to enhance overall sensitivity. It's also pre-installed with a 50µm entrance slit providing resolution of 2.5nm (FWHM).
It connects and draws power from the PC via USB2, and is supplied complete with comprehensive AvaSoft-FULL software, a full manual including quick start guides, medium duty protection case, and is covered by a 3 years RTB warranty.
